Clinical Diabetes Management for Holistic/Natural Health Practionners Seminar

HP-header04 1

Diabetes Insight is delighted to host a one day seminar for Holistic/Natural Health Practionners in Clinical Diabetes Management on Saturday 15th November 2014 to celebrate World Diabetes Day(14th November) and Diabetes Awareness Month. The aim of this seminar is to help bridge the gap between clinical diabetes management and a natural holistic health approach.

People with diabetes are the highest users of complementary medicine amongst those with chronic health conditions worldwide. Therefore it is important that both medical health care professionals and practionners of holistic natural health work together to ensure that both approaches are properly understood, and best practice is achieved for both the client and practitioner.

Facilitator

The seminar is facilitated by Helena Farrell RGN, MSc Diabetes who is the founder of Diabetes Insight & the Cork Health & Lifestyle Centre. Diabetes Insight is Ireland’s Only Private Independent Advisory Service & Education Centre specializing in Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME).
